What is Ellanse?

Ellanse is a non-hyaluronic acid filler that contains Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier made of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). It is injected into the skin to lift, sculpt and restore lost volume associated with skin ageing.

Our skin requires collagen to sustain proper tightness and elasticity. However, as we age, our skin loses its natural ability to produce collagen, leading to laxity of facial tissue and some skin conditions like wrinkles. Unlike traditional HA fillers, Ellanse corrects wrinkles and folds by stimulating collagen to treat the underlying causes of facial ageing. How does ELLANSE work?
 
 

After Ellanse is injected into our skin, there is an instant lift to areas lacking in volume. The PCL content in Ellanse will naturally get your skin to produce collagen, while the CMC content will be reabsorbed into your skin. Topical numbing cream will be used prior to the treatment to minimize discomfort. The treatment is often well-tolerated by most patients.

 
How long will the results last?
 

You will get natural looking results that last for 1~2 years.  

 
Is there any downtime?
 

Patients can resume back their daily activities immediately after the injection. Occasionally, patients may experience minor bruising or swelling after the procedure, but it will go away in a few days.
