WHAT IS LONG PULSE LASER SKIN TIGHTENING?

Long pulse laser skin tightening is a non-invasive laser treatment which uses Nd:YAG and Er:YAG wavelengths and 4 treatment modes to perform aesthetic treatments, including skin tightening and skin volumisation (wrinkle reduction) and skin resurfacing.

Long pulse laser penetrates the connective structures of the skin to stimulate collagen production and remodelling.

The first step involves treating the mucosa tissue to stimulate some new collagen growth. This allows the cheeks to tighten and the nasolabial fold to reduce size. This also helps reduce wrinkles around the mouth area.

FRAC3 – Rejuvenation

The second step targets deeper imperfections to repair and restore a youthful skin texture.

PIANO – Skin Tightening

The third step allows the laser energy to heat deep dermal layers and connective skin tissue while sparing the epidermis.

The final step is a light peel which improves the appearance of the skin and reduces imperfections, giving the skin a pearl finish.

Based on individual’s pain tolerance, most patients can tolerate the treatment without much discomfort. Some prickling and heat sensation may be felt during the treatment process. 

 
How long will the results last?
 

Most patients can see some results after one treatment. The end results can be seen after 2~3 months.

 
How many treatments are required?
 

3~6 sessions of treatment are recommended and interval of 1 month for maximum results. Maintenance treatment every 3~6 months is recommended to achieve desired results.

 
Is there any downtime?
 

Patients may experience some redness which usually goes away in a few hours.
