When can I see the results?

In most cases, 1 treatment is sufficient to remove all of them. However, a touch-up is required for deeper skin lesions as these are removed layer by layer to reduce the chances of scarring. The touch-up session will be done in 1~3 months (depending on the pre-existing condition).

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
HOW DOES LASER MOLES/SKIN TAGS WORK?

CONSULTATION

Before the start of the treatment, there will be a consultation session with Dr Lim. During the consultation, he will assess your skin condition and advise the types of lasers to use that suit your skin concerns.

APPLICATION OF NUMBING CREAM

The procedure is well tolerated by most of our patients. Numbing cream will be applied before the procedure, and cold air will be provided to minimize discomfort.

LASER MOLES/SKIN TAGS PROCEDURE

The procedure is about 15~20 minutes depending on the number of skin tags/moles. The skin lesions are removed layer by layer to reduce the chances of scarring

REVIEW

A follow up / touch up appointment will be arranged in 1 month time.

The entire treatment will take approximately 5~10 minutes depending on the number of lesions.

Based on individual’s pain tolerance and location, most people are able to tolerate the laser sessions with minimal discomfort. Topical anesthetic cream will be used prior to treatment to make the laser procedure more comfortable.

 
How many treatments are required?
 

In most cases, one treatment should be sufficient. A touch up might be needed for deeper skin lesions in 1 month time.

 
Is there any downtime?
 

The treated areas will form small scabs, which will fall off in about 5 to 7 days, depending on the size and depth of the original lesions. Antibiotic ointment and healing serum will be prescribed to aid in healing and recovery.
