Hydration booster possesses one of the highest BDDE-free stabilized concentrations of HA (64mg/2ml), more than skin boosters and fillers. However, rather than adding volume to the skin, it improves the skin's condition and is used to treat fine lines, problems with skin laxity and signs of ageing.

 

Hydration booster makes use of a patented technology known as NAHYCO Technology, where 32mg of high molecular hyaluronic acid (H-HA) and 32mg of low molecular HA (L-HA) bind together through thermal cross-linking to form Hybrid Cooperative Complex Hyaluronic Acid. This hybrid complex allows hydration booster to go deeper than traditional skin boosters by stimulating collagen and elastin in the skin, both crucial aspects of having a firm and healthy-looking skin.

What is the Hydration booster treatment like? Is there any downtime?
 

Prior to hydration booster treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. Unlike skin boosters, which require multiple injection points, hydration booster uses unique BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique, with just 5 injection points per side of the face per treatment.

Injections are very tolerable with only mild discomfort experienced by patients. There is very little downtime and injection bumps will disappear within a few hours.

Sometimes, there might be some mild bruising around the injection points, but these generally clear up within few days.

 
How many treatments of Hydration booster do I need?
 

In general, patients will only require 2 treatments of hydration boosters to see significant results, with a 1 month apart in between. For patients suffering from very loose skin, a third treatment might be needed*.

After a 6 months cycle, you might need to go for a repeat hydration booster treatment in order to maintain a good clinical outcome.
