What Is 1064nm Pico Laser?
The 1064nm Pico Laser can fire laser beams with very short pulse durations (picoseconds, which are one trillionth of a second). It is an improved technology from the traditional Q-switched Lasers, which generate laser beams in the nanosecond pulse duration.

The entire treatment will take approximately 10 minutes.
Based on an individual’s pain tolerance and location of the pigmented lesion, most people are able to tolerate the lasers sessions without much discomfort. Patients will feel the pulses as quick tingling sensations, like very tiny rubber bands snapped against the skin. Cold air or numbing cream will be provided if necessary.
Depending on the patient’s condition, the number of treatments is usually about of 5 – 10 sessions.
The face may look flushed after the laser treatment for a few hours or 1 to 2 days, depending on the laser setting. You may resume normal activities post-treatment, but it is advisable to minimize sun exposure and apply sunblock daily.
